Always wanted to be your own boss and not have to wake up to an alarm clock, fight traffic, put up with angry bosses, etc?  There are ways in which you can achieve your goals and create a great income in the process.

Below is a list of just 5 ways to generate an income at home.  Some are more technically oriented than others, but all of them can be done.  Just remember, what ever you choose, you must be willing to put time and dedication in to it. 

1)     Content Websites/BLOGs – Pick a topic of information and create a Blog or Website to share the information with others.  The Blog/Website should cover all aspects of the topic at hand and be interesting and informative.  Your goal is to create this and become ‘The Authority’ on the topic.  Submit the Blog/Site for Search Engine Ranking so that the site will (over time) appear at the top of any search results.  To generate income, you can add paid advertising, google Adsense, partners, etc. 

2)     Network Marketing/Multilevel Marketing/MLM – Many companies offer ways in which individuals can start their own company relatively inexpensively.  Basically the individual becomes an independent distributor or seller for the company and is paid commissions and overrides on their team’s efforts.  These company range in products from makeup to candles and everything in between.  You can also find some that are service based so that no products are sold or distributed.  Once such company is Ameriplan through the Freedom At Home Team. 

3)     eBay – Individuals can sell just about anything on eBay.  For those that want to create a true income on eBay, you can open a store on the site and sell specific items.  Keep in mind that competition can be fierce on eBay as it has been around a very long time.  To keep your item’s ahead of the others always present a photo.  You may also want to purchase a how-to book on selling items on eBay.

4)     Freelancing – With freelancing from home, you must create a reputation for yourself where others use your services and refer you to others.  The nice thing with freelancing is that you can set your own hours and set your own rules. 

5)     Services – There are a lot of things that people are willing to have assistance with and who are willing to pay for that service.  Pet sitting, house sitting, being a nanny for others, etc.  Pick something that you like to do and this will reward you.

Of course there are many other ways in which to generate income from home.  Use your imagination, and do your research.  Find something that you like to do and work each day at building your income.  You will find your freedom at home before you know it.
